Council Award Nominations

Each year, councils recognize their outstanding leaders. These recognitions are in the form of awards for service given by leaders to youth members of the council. There are a number of recognitions that are given by the Capitol Area Council at its Annual Awards Ceremony and Reception. Nominations for these awards may be made at any time and are due in the council office October 1 of each year.

Nominations are due in the council office by Friday, October 1, 2010.

Applications are online at the Capitol Area Council website here .

Take Order campaign is fast approaching.  Is your unit ready to have fun while earning money? Additional information will be available at our Great Night of Scouting meeting on Thursday, September 9, when Take Order forms will be available for pickup for your Unit.  There are many positive changes to the program and product packaging this year, so to learn more about POPCORN 2010, click HERE for information.

Chartered Organization Representative Training

Description: This course provides information regarding the relationship between a Scouting unit and its chartered organization, and how the Chartered Organization Representative serves as the liaison between the two. Join us for this informative session that will help you fulfill the duties of this important position.
