eagleThe path to the rank of Eagle Scout is a long but rewarding one. The Bee Cave District Advancement Committee is here to help the Scout properly navigate this path.

The Committee's responsibilities specific to assisting the Scout on the path to Eagle include:

  • Review and approve service project ideas submitted by Eagle Scout candidates.
  • Participate in unit boards of review for Eagle Scout candidates.
  • Consider and act on appeals from the unit level for Eagle Scout applications and Eagle Scout boards of review.

To assist the Scout in tracking his progress towards Eagle we have a flow chart that has been successfully used in the past. I encourage you to download this flow chart and include it in your Eagle binder.

The flow chart is on two pages and is assembled and used in this way:

Here are the links for the flow chart. It is available in Microsoft Word and PDF formats:

We also have a sample outline that you can use to help with the Project Details step in the Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project Workbook.
