Admit it. Camping looks fun, but you have questions. Texas Parks and Wildlife can help. The Texas Outdoor Family program will teach you and your family the basic camping skills needed for a great time outdoors. We supply all the equipment including tent, lantern, stove and cookware. You simply provide the willingness to learn and create lasting memories with your family. In addition to camping skills, you can participate in other outdoor activities like fishing, kayaking and geocaching. At a cost of only $65 per family you can have an affordable get-away while learning new skills that will last a lifetime. Contact us at (512) 389-8903 or www.tpwd.state.tx.us/outdoorfamily.
