The "Take-Order" popcorn sales are underway! show-n-sell

Selected Key Dates:

September 26:  Commission checks were mailed for "Show-N-Sell" phase popcorn sales.

September 27:  Begin "Take-Order" phase popcorn sales.

October 28:  Submit Unit Order Form for Take Orders through link on CAC web site, or to District Popcorn Kernel, This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . 

November 8:  Units pick up their popcorn at the former "Wolfe Nursery" warehouse building, 1905 S. Capital of Texas Hwy (on Loop 360 between Tres Amigos and Rudy's).  Please thank our local Taco Bell restaurants for letting us use this warehouse to distribute the popcorn!

This campaign is a well-established fund-raising program with a successful track record for helping scouts raise money for their unit and for the Council.  Last year 236 units in the Capitol Area Council earned over $415,000 in unit commissions.

The following materials may be helpful for your popcorn campaign.  Anytime you see instructions to send a form to the council office, please send it to Fundraising Secretary Stephanie Gusman (fax: 512-927-2310 attn: Stephanie).

 

 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Commission checks from popcorn sales will be sent to your unit's Committee Chairman on record with the council office; If your unit is changing the Committee Chairman, you must contact Fundraising Secretary Stephanie Gusman (512-926-6363 ext. 623 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) to insure proper delivery of your commission check.
  • If your unit chose to take part in the prize program for the first part of the popcorn sale (Show-n-Sell), then you must take part in the prize program for the second part (Take Order). You can't do prize program in one part then the commission program for the second, or vice versa)
  • Don't forget to order your unit's popcorn sale patches through the Trail's End website (see link above)
