In closets and garages around the council there are uniforms and equipment, patiently resting and waiting for the next campout or scout meeting. Sadly, that adult large shirt will be waiting and waiting maybe forever for the XL adult to loose enough weight to once again wear this very good shirt. Currently it is lonely just taking up room in your closet. It could be worn by a formerly Medium adult who has transitioned into a larger role in their scout unit and needs a large shirt. If only there was a way to find a custodian for that shirt with the skills of matching it to a scouter just that size.

In the back of the garage sits an old Coleman lantern and two burner stove. We know they always work, but since backpacking has become the primary item of interest, that excellent lantern and stove, sits forlorn, waiting for a chance to shine brightly and cook for its owner. The lantern and its friend the 2 burner stove wait patiently for there next opportunity to smell the fresh air instead of the aromatic fumes of those old hiking boots.

So don’t let your storage spaces fill up with depressed equipment and undersized uniforms. Snap a quick picture and post it on Pegslist. Help reduce the cost of scouting for someone else who knows the meaning of do your best and be prepared.

Peg’s list is simply a cyberspace custodian and matchmaker for those lonely items. Peg’s List Cyberspace Custodian makes recycling Boy Scout resources to District scouts and scouters as simple as a click of a mouse. No fees no funds, just lots and lots of fun just waiting for the next scouting experience.

Please help your lonely scout stuff find a home it is the right thing to do for you and your stuff.
