Welcome to the Bee Cave District Training page! 

**Adults** Be sure to keep your SYT (Safe-Guarding Youth Training) up to date! This is REQUIRED for attending ANY Scouting-related event. You can do so (and so much more training!!) with your account on my.scouting.org here.

**Update 2023** Along with SYT, leaders that are in 'direct contact' in the field are now required to take the 'Hazardous Weather' Training Course on my.scouting.org along with SYT. See more here: https://www.bsacac.org/training/adult-required/hazardous-weather-training/

Curious about what a 'Direct Contact' leader is? This is what it includes according to the Capitol Area Council (CAC):

▪ Cub Scouts – Cubmaster, Assistant Cubmaster, Den Leader, Assistant Den Leader, Tiger Den Leader, Webelos Den Leader, Assistant Webelos Den Leader

▪ Scouts BSA – Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster

▪ Venturing – Advisor, Associate Advisor

▪ Sea Scouting – Skipper, Mate

▪ Exploring – Advisor, Associate Advisor
